Steven Arthur Knapp

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Steven Arthur Knapp of Winchester at the Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 73. Steven left us after navigating his illness with extraordinary strength, courage and grace. He was surrounded by the comforting love of family and caring staff of Sherwood Park Manor on his final day. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Knapp (nee Barkley) and is survived by his two daughters Shawna and Amanda (Simon Beaulieu). Steven will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jessica (Bryce Rutley), Sarah, Meaghan, Jon, Will and his great-grandson Elliott. He is survived by his two brothers Allen (Lise) and Nelson (Susan) both of Chesterville.  He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Geraldine Knapp (nee Thomas) and his sister Crystal Roy.

Funeral Arrangements

A celebration of Steven's life will take place at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Sunday, November 2, from 1-4 p.m. Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery at a later date.  Donations to Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift "please notify the family".
